The Scrunched up sleeve

There are numerous ways to wear a trench coat. It can be strict and military, effortlessly undone, sharp or scrappy or sweet. And while much of that comes down to the style and cut of the piece (we see that often with Burberry’s trench coat variations: there’s a great contrast between something highly structured and something given a feminine twist with frills or soft fabrics) it also comes down to how you decide to carry it.

In this case the leather panels are the inherent detail that lends the trench coat to a particular feel; but what really seals the deal is the effortlessness of the scrunched-up sleeves of the coat being rolled over with the underlying chambray. That, and the one-hand-in-pocket, one-hand-with-cigarette nonchalance of it all.
